Meet up with Montana Linux people on IRC. We currently gather at the #ubuntu-montana room on the freenode network. Stop in and say "hello" or even ask/answer some questions. Don't have to be a Ubuntu user either. Or use the web-based chat client.

Video: Ubuntu 11.10 Review

For our Ubuntu fans as well as those who just want to learn about the upcoming release, I found this on youtube. I was hoping for HTML5 playback option, but this seems to be Flash only. The review was done from a recent release candidate that I believe will be the final release due out this Thursday. I still prefer KDE myself. :)

Very good review. I've always love to use Ubuntu but 11.04 with Unity felt a bit cumbersome to use with the way the dash hides the apps under the various menus. At first I complained on and on about how gnome 2 was easier to use and how Unity was just not good, but after a while I got used to it and now I really like it. By the looks of your review video they've made HUGE improvements to Unity and it does indeed look like one of the best OS's I've seen. In your opinion though out of the three included desktops which is your favorite to use? Gnome 3 Or the Revamped Unity.
