LUG Meetings

Meet up with Montana Linux people on IRC. We currently gather at the #ubuntu-montana room on the freenode network. Stop in and say "hello" or even ask/answer some questions. Don't have to be a Ubuntu user either. Or use the web-based chat client.

The BillingsLUG hasn't had a meeting in a while but they are hoping to start back up real soon. Really.

The HelenaLUG is currently on hiatus.

The MissoulaLUG is currently on hiatus but a few individuals are working in the background to change that ASAP.

a bit of personal news...

Well most of you didn't know but I have a wonderful family. A beautiful and wonderful wife and a very smart (to smart for my own good) son. I also have another one on the way. My wife is 7 months along and every thing has been going well until today.

Today we found out that she has gestational diabetes. Now this isn't that bad of news but she was at a elevated risk to start with so this just adds one more thing to the table. We will be finding out more tomorrow.

Hello Slipp3d,

For what it's worth, My sister-in law went through this with both of my nieces, now one and three years old. Hopefully just a few dietary changes and things should be ok! Good luck,
