I'm getting into this right now! Thank you for the information! I'm reading "From Patent To Profit".
OMG these trolls are so f*ing trashy! My book says something along the lines of: "you wouldn't sell your child to someone else so that they could raise it. Why would you sell your patent unless you had provisions to prevent abuse and mistreatment"
It sounds like the poor inventor just forgot this warning or... maybe he didn't have time/money to both BE A DAMN LAWYER *and* be an INVENTOR!
I have friends of DWT's principle partners. These people have helped an inventor I know in the past. I'm going to see if they're legit by patenting progressively better inventions.
A "department store for patents"...... bastards.
I fully agree with the idea that patents are just a bothersome step. But I think that they're unfortunately necessary.
